Thank you, dear Katie. I read your comment to Scott and he said to tell you hello. We ran into your parents on our way home from Fort Bragg in November. It was so nice to see them and get an update on you. Thanks so much for leaving such a sweet comment. I so hope you get to homestead someday. Living on a farm is such a gift.

That’s so interesting that you point out the loneliness of unshared memories. I think this is very true. As human beings, we are searching for connection with others. Nicely written as usual, Paula. I’m always admiring your chosen subjects and beautiful analogies. The worst part of holding the memories is the not the pain, it’s the loneliness. Memories, good or bad, need to be shared with others.

Years after graduating FCS with Cami and taking classes with Scott, I am still reading and loving your content. You inspire me continually to begin the writing process that so many have urged me to do, and yet I have continued to say “It will have to wait. I’m busy with other things right now…” I love your authentic vulnerability and commitment to sharing what your faith means to you. I too have been waiting anxiously to pick up a copy of Farming Grace. I dream of becoming a homesteader one day and sharing the bounty of the goodness of the Lord. Perhaps this, with the fact that I just love your writing, is keeping me excited to read your new book. Thanks for being willing to share your story, it’s how humans have connected across history. I know yours is going to be powerful.
