After reading this I am on my way to Amazon to get the first two. How exciting! My family came to the Lassen Area in the 1850’s where they had 3 sawmills but my grandfather died near Nevada City. My mom bought my 1st “store bought” dress at that Woolworth in Marysville and I’ve visited Fort Ross several times. So, I can hardly wait to get your books. Just reading this about your 3rd one whets the appetite!

Loved the first two books and can’t wait to read Chasing the Wind in March. We live in a history rich area of California. I’ve always wished I could blink twice and be transported in time to see history unravel itself. Your books do just that. Transport the reader in time. You have a true gift.
